The life of prayer that Traian Dorz led integrates itself in a uniform and symphonic way in the philokalic spirit of prayer as experienced and expressed by the Fathers of our Church. Traian Dorz`s missionary testimonies and exhortations are beyond discursive knowledge, overflowing from a heart that has become "spring of water welling up to eternal life" (Jn 4, 14); therefore they are a precious legacy for a "longing soul" (Psalm 107, 9). Like any other literary work, that of Traian Dorz is not without artistic dimension, but being a christian missionary work, the spiritual dimension of his work takes precedence over the arts; if this is not considered, his work cannot be valued nor even understood.
