Panayotis Nellas (1936-1986), one of the most influential thinkers of Greece
in the last century, gave Orthodox space the most comprehensive and faithful
exposure of patristic anthropology. In the study Man - Deified Animal,

thorough analysis, the generally valid concept of the holy parents regarding
the divine specificity of the human being. In our presentation we sought to
revalorize the old anthropological perspectives.
