Notes on Patriarch Justinian
The article draws the spiritual portrait of patriarch Justinian and describes
the general context of his pastoral time. The previous Patriarchs are also
mentioned. The author refers to the journal of American General C. V. Schuyler,
published in Romanian in 1997. Patriarch Justinian proved to be the right
person to help the Romanian Orthodox Church to get through the dark epoch of
the communist rule.
