Image and immortality in the Jewish tradition
The paper approaches two fundamental concepts in the biblical anthropological discourse:
„tselem” (image) and „al-mavet” (immortality), this time from the of Jewish tradition
perspective. The author explores the process of evolution in the understanding of these two
concepts of the Jewish tradition, citing various sources such as the Talmud, the Zohar as well
as modern Jewish writers such as Cohen, Levinas, Stephane, Heschel, Epstein and others.
