IOAN RAZEŞ, A memorable spiritual gathering
This text is a chronicle of a spiritual and cultural event held in Ramnicu Valcea, Călimăneşti and
the village Glăvile, on March 10-11, 18 and 21, 2016, namely the sixth edition of the Memorial Bartolomeu
Valeriu Anania. Integrated into the commemorative Year of Saint Antim the Iberian (at
300 years since the martyrdom), this edition had a generous theme connecting the two great personnalities
of the Romanian Church and people, respectively, Sacred oratory from Varlaam and
Antin the Iberian to Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania – theme presented particularly by theologians who
have been close to the man and orator-bishop of our present days.
