This text emphasizes the importance of counseling for salvation and for finding solutions to the multitude of spiritual problems that man and especially the contemporary man have always faced. The experience of elders is always useful to young people to learn the middle way of discernment and wisdom in dealing with the challenges they face. The teachings of George Coşbuc, Ioan Alexandru, Archbishop Justinian, Nichifor Crainic, Nilus of Sinai, John of the Ladder, Kallistos and Ignatius Ksanthopoulos are evoked.
