Claude Bernard as seen by Alexandru Mironescu

Alexandru Mironescu got acquainted with the studies of Claude Bernard in Paris while developing his PhD thesis. Surprised by his scientific work, he decides to draw up an ample monography for him. The text captures: aspects of his unfortunate personal life, his career at the university and the conclusions of his scientific experiments. Despite his aura of "tormenter of the most gentle of animals" Claude Bernard was able to lighten the faces of people in the Parisian hospitals, waiting for a divine miracle.
