Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania, Oriental mysteries and Christianity - an "exceptional" graduation dissertation


Professor Ioan St. Lazăr, interpreter of Valeriu Anania`s work, wrote a documented chronic of Valeriu Anania`s Oriental Mysteries and Christianity initially his graduation dissertation, held in Sibiu in 1948. Its appearance is due to the efforts of professor Aurel Sasu, literary critic and testamentary legatee of Metropolitan Bartolomeu`s archive. Strictness, polemical spirit, concision of interpretation, selection of information, orientation to the world of Western culture are all highlighted as well as the ability of thetheologian writer Valeriu Anania to use appropriate language and to match scientific and literary expressivity.
