This text deals with the history of the Romanian people, between the Orient and the Occident. The Romanian people was formed and developed between the Orient and the Occident. Other people belong either to the Orient or to the Occident. The Romanian people belong to both the Orient and the Occident. It synthesizes the Orient and the Occident and it constitutes the boundary between the two of them. This fact is visible in the destiny of the Romanian people in a historical and political way, as well as in a philological, cultural, spiritual, and theological way.
