The Circulation of St. Antimos of Iberia`s Writings in Bessarabia, in the 19th Century


 

The circulation of the Romanian writings along centuries from the place where they were written or printed towards the other Romanian regions led to the unification of the standard literary Romanian language. In the 19th century, Antimos of Iberia`s writings were used in Bessarabia which was under czarist domination. His writings that were identified there were: Acatist (1698), Liturghii (1713) and a copy of his Didahii from 1814.
