The friends of Bishop Nicolae Ivan of Vad, Feleac and Cluj
The personality of Bishop Nicolae Ivan remained imprinted in the history of Transylvania at the end of the nineteenth century and in the first decades of the twentieth century, not only because of his religious, social and political work, but also because of the prominent ecclesial, cultural and political personalities that had worked with him and who were also his friends until the end of his earthly life. This article includes a document that was to be published in a volume about Bishop Nicolae Ivan. The document, drawn up by Bishop Emilian Antal, describes the personality of Patriarch Miron Cristea, both hierarchs being friends and collaborators of Bishop Nicolae Ivan.
