YouCat. Some reflections on the catechetical project of the Roman Catholic Church for the youth YouCat, a term derived from „Youth Catechism” began in 2006 at the initiative of the Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Austria being drafted by Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, archbishop of Vienna, and Catholic publisher Bernard Meuser, wishing to convey through this catechism the Church’s teaching „in a way that young people can understand.” The article notes the appearance of this volume and its importance in the Catholic environment.
