Christus heri, hodie et semper - Christ yesterday, today and forever The paschal salutation “Christ has risen!” has the ability to capture both
the past that serves as the undisputable historical context of the Lord’s death
and Resurrection, but also the consequences of this gift of God that are seen
not in a future that is not ours but only in a present of living with the Risen
Christ, Who is also the foundation of our faith. When we say “Christ has
Risen!” we refer not to the past aspect imposed by the verbal form, but to a
reality revealed to us in a time without time. CONSTANTIN PETREA |
