context. The new status of the Russian Church leads to an important material
support that can be seen through conferences and congresses, specialized
missions and exchanges, which made some of the Eastern Orthodox Churches to see
Moscow as an important guide and lighthouse, in a time of brutal globalization
into which the Western world had entered.
