DAN CIACHIR, Memories
This text sums up a series of memories from the pleasant atmosphere of the Romanian monasteries
in the last part of the communist regime. From it, there emerges on one hand the constraining
regime monasteries were subjected to in those years and yet, on the other, the normality of the life
in those monasteries. Important personalities of the Church life are evoked, people of good will, but
also colorful characters, as offi cials of the power.
