MAXIM MORARIU, Love – beyond the distinction between έρως şi αγάπη
In this study, the author analyses two of the most important senses of love, according to the Greek
philosophy: έρως and αγάπη. He shows that, despite of the apparent antinomy, there is not a total
opposition between them, he highlights the sense of each of them and he also demonstrates that
love is more than έρως and αγάπη. Some important theological and philosophic aspects of the two
notions are also emphasised and analysed there.
