The article analyzes the journalistic component of the literary work of the writer Alexandru Mironescu. Alexandru Mironescu made his debut in journalism at the age of thirty-three years. Even if he was not a political analyst and the supporter of an ideology, between 1936-1945, Alexandru Mironescu, in the pages of eight periodicals, commented in a realistic way different socio-political situations, presented scientific discoveries and reflected on our national identity.
