The Romanian Language Day in Montréal

This text is a review of "The Romanian Language Day", an event that took place in Montreal, in Canada, on the 31st of August 2013. Synchronized with the manifestations in Romania and Chișinău on the 31st of August 2013, The Romanian Language Day in Montreal, a Canadian city where more than 50,000 Romanian and 7,000 Moldovans live, set to erase the cultural boundary of the Prut, was endorsed by the Romanian Cultural Institute in New York. It was the result of the collaboration between The Association of Romanian Writers in Quebec, The Romanian Cultural Association, and The Moldovan Community in Quebec. Many associations of Romanian writers in Quebec also took part. In Montreal, there are 200 national communities and the cultural activity of the Romanians is significantly increasing.
