Ioan Lupaş (1880-1967), Biographical coordinates. Childhood and youth
The article presents some biographical aspects regarding the childhood and youth of the historian Ioan Lupaș, namely the birthplace, his family, the first years of education in Sălişte, the secondary school studies in Sibiu, his studies at the Romanian highschool in Brașov, the university studies in Budapest as a scholar of the Gojdu Foundation, as well as postgraduate studies in Berlin. At the end of his studies, Ioan Lupaș is appointed Professor at the Chair of Church History at the Andrei Șaguna Seminary in Sibiu.
