Nostalgia and the second
Our generation lives with a real obsession of the optimal time, which we use with maximum efficiency, taking everything out of it, making it productive. This pressure in hours and minutes can have a justification in economic life, for more and better. If our spare time does not become dynamic move, then, we think, we lost it, not in the sense that it passed, but in the sense that it did not bring us maximum benefits. Theology draws attention to the fact that the use of time is a permanent balance between act and contemplation. We allow time to be our teacher, to whisper the truth about that essential second, when our lives flow into the ocean of true life. The past is also nostalgia.
