The Holy Place of Worship in the Works of Traian Dorz during the persecution of the atheist Communism
This year we pay homage to the confessors, who in the hardships times of the past century suffered in the communist prisons. One of these confessors is Traian Dorz, who suffered in the communist prisons for no less than 17 years, during which he remained unwavering in his Christian and Orthodox faith. The importance and value of Traian Dorz's writings about the place of worship does not consist in theological subtleties or in artistic mastery, but in the fact that they were written in a time of grueling history, when the atheist communists wanted, at any cost, to empty the churches, even to demolish them and to extinguish the faith of the people, and on the other hand, the neoprotestant proselytism was attacking with cunning strategy from another direction. This gives these writings the value of confessions, and to the writer the aura of confessor.
