The environmental crisis and secularism
The ecological crisis starts with the separation of man from nature and secularism starts with his separation from God. Separation from God is a sin and the Orthodox Church believes that the crimes against nature are also sins. The uncontrolled development is based on principles that masks sins and have consequences against people and the environment. Therefore, the solution is simple: a return of man, „the prodigal son”, to God.
