Painting of St. Nicholas church in Cluj-Napoca
In this article the author presents several elements regarding the history of the orthodox church of St. Nicholas in Cluj-Napoca and describes the church and its artistic components, exhibiting the iconographic program of the murals and providing some indications on the artistic technique and ending with the analysis of the state of preservation of the mural painting, with photographs to illustrate the details.
