Hot Autumn. Amidst the tensions between Moscow and Constantinople
Because of the conflict between Moscow and Constantinople on the subject of the Ukrainian Church’s autocephaly, but also of Russian church news, the autumn of 2018 was hot and historic. The article describes the recent dispute between the two Churches concerning the autocephaly of the Church of Ukraine, a dispute that already led to the interruption of communion between the two Churches. In this respect, the author evaluates the standing positions of the Russian press.
