His Beatitude Daniel – 30 years of episcopal ministry in the service of
Christ’s Church and of the Romanian Nation –
The present article summarizes his Bio-bibliography and his exceptional achievements in administrative, pastoral-missionary, theological-cultural, ecumenical, philanthropical, social care and other areas, mostly as founder in the Diocesan See of Timisoara (Vicar-Bishop, March-June 1990), Iasi (Archbishop and Metropolitan, 1990-2007), and Bucharest (Archbishop of Bucharest, Metropolitan of Muntenia and Dobrogea, Locum Tenens of Caesarea in Cappadocia and Patriarch of Romania, 2007-present). During the 30 years of his episcopal ministry, he proved to be a leading hierarch and a representative personality of the 21st century, well known in the country and abroad.
