The Holy Synod of the `50s

The article of Prof. Mircea Gelu Buta, a fragment from the second edition of Memories about Metropolitan Bartolomeu Anania brings to the spotlight the synodal atmosphere of the `50s, "a heroic gathering" through an attentive and meaningfull evocation of Metropolitan Bartolomeu Anania. He also evokes the portrait of the hierarch Antim Nica "a very learned and cultivated person", to which was related by their readings, but also because they were both close to Patriarch Justinian.
